slowly but surely......

It's a slow process but I will take it! I've now lost 24lbs since surgery, October 17, and I can't begin to tell you how much better I feel! I can feel the restriction somewhat. I've learned that you must chew, chew, chew, or you will be sick!!! When you have food stuck, all I can say is it hurts like HELL! You can't breathe and there is nothing that will make it go down... and when you are full, STOP!!! If you don't, well all I can say is to have a trash can nearby... liquid or food... doesn't matter..... it's coming back up! I can't seem to get off my sweet kick. I've never liked sweets before so me wanting bite size snickers is very unusual... but oh so good!

Sorry this post is a "ramble" but there is just not much to report. I'm hoping that when I go back to Dr. Babineau's office on January 6, I will have lost 30lbs..... Gotta keep the faith!!! I will survive....

Wonderful job!!! That is awesome. I am trying to get back on the band wagon and have done good for the past few days. I am about to blow it though with a bunch of ice cream....it has been a rough evening. =(

Hi! I am so thrilled that you commented on my blog. I just caught up on yours. WAYTOGO! Keep stalking my blog. I LOVE IT. What a story we have now. Girl, I travel all over. I was just in Longview for Thanksgiving. Seriously, I would love to meet up with you for a session...after you lose the weight you want, you HAVE to book a session to show off your body! Promise me. I am sooooo proud of you. Keep posting 'cause I'm now a blog reader.

A few things I've learned since I started working out or heard from work out friends [ask a doctor though, I don't want to be responsible]...
1. The more often you eat, the better. Eat breakfast, snack, eat lunch, snack, eat dinner, snack. When you eat 3 meals or less, you trick your body into thinking that you don't have enough food for it so your body stores up fat. When you eat WELL but more often [ eat protein], your body stores less fat because it knows that it isn't running out of food.
2. Take Ginseng [boosts energy], Asidophilus [aids in digestion], and ask about B12 shots. *Definitely ask your doc*

Keep working hard. Keep in touch!
Much love to you.
